I understand people have been having a lot of success converting Air soft look alikes to Ruger 10/22 rifles. For $400 and a bit of time it might be worth it. $700 is a lot for a plinker.

We'll see when/if they come to Canada how they hold up, shoot etc. It's German so that's one good thing. Although the Corporate image wannabees on their uber dorky video don't instill a lot of confidence.

$400 for a metal body airsoft gun. $300 for a 10/22. 1 week of labor IF you have the tools and know-how. Maybe another $100-200 in misc parts, then you have a total hacked up piece of crap job that looks awesome but might fall apart in your hand at the price of $800 or more plus around $1000 or more in labor (time is money). People saying that this gun shouldnt cost more than $400-500 are damn cheap wow.

Sorry I don’t mean to pick on you specifically because there are so many posts in this thread about people thinking this gun shouldn’t cost much more than a regular 10/22.

For people that truly want this gun, the looks and fact that this might be unrestricted are %99 of the selling point. If we wanted a target rifle we’d buy a target rifle. The fact that this could be unrestricted is awesome. Walking around the forest with this would be “fun”

total just over $400, under $500 for your own Mp5.

I meant around $400 total not just for the case.
$700 is a lot.

At $500 maybe $600 max I could see going for it. $600 would be pushing it. $550 would be about right.

so when and who will have this teaser in stock, I WANT TWO!!!! with ofcoarse a few mags 6 should do... maybe 10. i hate relaoding mags takes away from shooting time;)
 
All you guys pondering the price...a waste of time. The price will be what it will be....if...and only if..the CFC ruling that currently says this is prohibited is over turned. There are currently 2 importers that I know challenging the CFC's ruling regards this issue, and it will take time.

The earliest forecast, if successful in having this baby approved as non-restricted is Spring 08. We'd be lucky to have this on the range by next summer.
