ontario transfer time

I just bought one about a week ago, and im still waiting... gotta love em. Going to call them and see if rattling the cage will do something.

Today marks two weeks that I have been waiting on a transfer for a purchase from a store. Nothing yet.

I must be lucky most of mine this year have come through within 10 days from the order date.

Received my private transfer email this evening.

Transfer was started on Monday April 1st around noon by the seller. I immediately called the CFO to with the reference number to continue the paperwork.
Thursday April 11 @ 4:54pm I received the email with the attached transfer notice.

8 and a half working days for a private transfer in Ontario. That jives with the average of 7-10 days I was told when I called in.

Waiting 7 days so far on an ON to ON transfer. Called RCMP today and they said current transfer times are sitting at about two weeks.

I bought privatly last Friday and we both made the call on that day. Transfer was approved 3 days later on Monday and the I had the paper on wensday of this week.

Don't know where the 2 week wait is coming from. I would call back and get a answer from someone else. They are just playing games with you.

I'm in Ontario if that matters.

I initiated a transfer to Alberta on Tuesday at 4pm. It was approved by 2pm the next day. So it took 5 business hours for them to approve assuming they took a 1 hour lunch. Ontario sucks.

It’s weird because I’ve bought privately twice last month and they were very quick. I assumed buying from a dealer would be same, if not quicker. Guess not?
