Have you seen this rifle?
I am very interested in the Steyr Zephyr II though it is a bit on the spendy side @ around $1150.00
Vault Distributors will not have any for a couple months, as they are coming from Austria.
Finding one of these 22lr rifles in stock anywhere would be great. Thank you for any help.
Have any of you nuts purchased or tried one out?
If you have any comments or wish to discuss the rifle, please proceed.
I believe a matte finished Leupold VX II 3-9X33 EFR would go nicely on top of it.
It would match the rifles Mannox coating and Gold colored trigger.

I also believe a thread should have a picture or two.

A matte finished Leupold VX II 3-9X33 EFR seems like a good match for the rifle.

Looks like a lot of rifle for $1150... I might take a look at one for a squirrel rig.

The $1156.25 listing was at Ellwood Epps. Another Dealer Londero sports had them listed at $1199.95, & then there is the tax. The gentleman at Epps told me they require one third of the cost to order one as a deposit.

I guess the Zephyr weighs 5.8 lbs, the little Leupold 3-9 won't ad much to that either.
Is it the scope you would use for a squirrel rig?

I would also like to try a Sightron SII 36X off the bench. The Zephyr is said to have decent accuracy.
I plan to attach the scopes ( one at a time of course ) using Burris Signature Zee Rings.
I like them a lot.

I did see your listing just the other day.
I believe they use the same magazine as the CZ's, & that trigger guard also looks the same.
With the Steyr costing so much more, I do wish it had a trigger guard closer to the steel ones sold by D.I.P.
There is a good chance they will be available. I'm not interested in replacing all kinds of parts, but at this price point
I don't think there will be much of an after market.

Just one very important thing missing tonight:(

The extra set of 1 inch rings will allow me to try the Sightron 36X on my other rifles.
One has a high bolt lift.

If I order it, Ha Ha, It will probably be soon.:)
As I said way up at the top. The distributor won't be getting more Zephyr II's for a couple months.
You can try it the first time I take it to the range. I'm hoping by September 2nd
With my luck I will order the Dip guard & I'll get the rifle with the weird trigger guard, and the holes wont line up.
