Thinking about picking up a type 81 folder on the next run this fall. Iv had a cz 858 before and loved it but ended up selling it now i need another 7.62x39 gun.
It is such an evil gun, I've been having nightmares since I got it, a voice keeps on echoing "bubba…bubba…"
Just accept that you're buying an approximation of a cultural icon, rather than a fine rifle, and you won't be disappointed
The T-81 is the better rifle to the VZ and early AKs.
Explain your definition of “better”?
Aesthetics, ergonomics, performance, reliability...
so many guns in cant-ada are like this, want an mp5? gsg-16 or famae SAF, want an uzi? here's your brs-99, want an ak? pick an sks, 858 or type 81, want an fal or g3? welcome to sg542 country
and so on
all good guns in their own ways but i learned a long time ago there is no substitute for the real deal so i too accepted i was buying an approximation that would never be as cool as the real thing
the motto of the Canadian gun owner should be "its the closest thing we can have to a _______"
