New Product for sale: 12g to 20g adapter

Machined from 4130 Steel, these adapters let you shoot 20g from your 12g chambered break action shotgun. They can be used in a pump action also, but it is recommended that the extractor be removed from the bolt before doing so.

They are $49 plus shipping. You can get yours at www.rxarms.com.

They are sold in raw finish, oiling them will preserve them, but if you want a parkerized version, please contact me and I can do that for you for a bit extra.

Original message:

I have had an inquiry for this, just wondering how much demand there is if I made a run of this adapter?

Edit: it is up on the site if you want to get notified when it is in stock. www.rxarms.com

This is a very practical way to put that vintage, maybe damascus barrelled gun back into the field ( providing the gun is sound of course).

Very cool, are they blued or do they have some other coating on them?

I was considering parkerizing them but I would have to blast them and it would make them a little bit toothy. I figured that people would want a smoother finish in the chamber. 4130 does have some corrosion resistant properties (from the chromium), keeping them oiled just like your gun will be adequate protection. Would you prefer a parked version?

I am not picky. I don't know anything about metallurgy so if the combination of oiling them and built in corrosion resistance will make them last its good enough for me. I would rather you leave it alone and keep the price down. I don't speak for everyone though. I am a cheapskate.
