My season has been plagued from the start with the doctor telling me to take it real easy.
Went on my yearly deer trip anyways and got 2/3 of the way and my truck got cranky. Not being one to mess around with being stuck on a 2 lane mountain hwy with no cell service, our vacation was dashed but was the smart move.
Some friends tried to save our hunting vacation and we followed them to a good area just south of home a ways. The truck complied and got me there and back. Found some real nice areas on the quad to sneak in and go sit in sniper hide fashion but saw nothing but nice scenery and other critters I wasn't hunting.
Got home to fix the truck up and woke up to snow and the wife telling me she is getting picked up by her friend to go hunting.
Not really used to the wife getting up early and heading off hunting like that LOL
an hour an a bit after leaving I get a choppy cell phone call with my wife hootin and hollering on the other end. They bagged two mule deer bucks and are on their way back with them as I type this.
Gotta get the empty game freezer plugged in and cutting room ready after all
they texted me these pics. My wife is the crazy one in her hot pink hoodie LOL
My buddy is gonna be happy with his wife too as they are now tagged out.
