Those are the words of Pierre Eliot Trudeau, who many of you have been "educated" to think was the greatest leader and thinker this country ever produced. He was NOT. He was a snide, smirking, sneaking megalomaniac who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and hated and despised anything West of Montreal. Like ANY Socialist, he hated the IDEA than Citizens should be FREE to go about their own business, so long as they were not actively harming other citizens.
Trudeau hated the English Common Law system in which you are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
He much preferred the French system in which you are GUILTY UNTIL YOU CAN PROVE YOUR INNOCENCE.
HE and the people around him created this Statist monstrosity we have today, the NANNY STATE in which everyone must have their hand held and everyone must be supervised at all times by Mommy Government.
And it has worked.
If you have that faint little feeling that something is not quite right, that little flickering idea that perhaps you should not be punished for something that you didn't do, then you are starting to think like a Free Man. Exercise your freedoms, learn about the Common Law and about the Constitution of Canada and how your country is SUPPOSED to be run..... and then TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK from the Statists and the cowering little people who serve them.
This should be the finest, richest, greatest country in the world. That it is NOT is due to to a few hundred people and the political parties which they OWN and CONTROL.

[Bill Blair]'s actually more of a Statist. Similar - but basically he believes that only the 'authorities' should have any power and should not be questioned. He doesn't like the idea of anyone other than police having guns, he expects to be able to make up his own laws and doesn't care if that's illegal (g-20 'fence' law), and thinks we should all be good little citizens who do what we're told.
The liberals are a very statist party. They're not really true socialists, but they do believe that the gov't should run everything and that people should either WANT to do what they're told by the gov't or be FORCED to if they don't want to because obviously they don't know what's best for themselves.

convinced my mom and dad (both die hard liberals) to throw their vote anywhere but turdo, they went ndp. not perfect, but better than last round.

When the police get there, it will be too late. The will not let you strip your gun in front of them just to have over the receiver. Most people don't even that the tools to strip a long gun nor the knowledge to strip their semis down to the bone.

I personally don't think the LIberals will ever successfully create the legislation to enact a ban, let alone spend the real money to enforce it. But if they do, I will be prepared.

You make a good point but the unfortunate fact is a Conservative government will only slow down the merry go round, another election and who knows what will come out of it. Being in the shooting sports for forty years it has been a never ending spiral of restrictions and laws, which for the most part are never rescinded. We protested on Ottawa against C68 which at the time thought might bring change, to no avail.
 
No dear sir, this election is the most important election of our lives! We choose to either be free or slaves this election, Mr sheer is truly on our side. We will win this election and mr sheer will not disappoint us (do not listen to the dividers) be excited my friends. He is playing strategic chess and is many steps ahead of his opponents.
 
My area has been CPC for along time, I have been CPC my whole adult life. I have volunteered for them for years. And I can say only one thing-My vote is PPC, I am sick of the f###ing bull####. I went from 100k a year to 12k thanks to a fall at work, I have a team of health care workers helping me get my life back after a industrial accident, also have to hire a team of lawyers to fight WorkSafe, My Insurance provider and my Union who has done nothing for me , ev erything to screw me. I have spent the last 5yrs of my life in the SYSTEM! CPP pays me 12k per year!and the GOVERNMENT still taxes me? I had better tax returns making 100k ! I am in the fight of my life-NOW my country has gone to ####! If every CPC voted PPC we would save CANADA!PERIOD! YOU WANT MY BIBLE? YOU WANT MY GUN?...come get em!!!

I look at you with 79 posts in almost a decade, and then bro below with 22 since '14, and I don't really see much difference between any of you guys, haha!
