You're disappointed in the Canadian way. People of your mind set are a dying breed and since we live in a Mobocracy and not a constitutional republic, what is taking place here should be of no real surprise. Canadians act like there gun privileges are rights, they are not. Earlier a fellow said something along the lines of if Alberta Separates from Canada (which will never happen) he'd move there in a heartbeat. If someone is willing to move to better there sovereign rights, then why not just move to the USA where you can live and interact with others that share the same political ideology, instead of a pointless fight over privileges bestowed upon us by our rulers.

Moving to the US is definitely an option on the table. Just spoke to my family about it and there was no real resistance to the idea.
Getting a sick feeling in my stomach thinking how things will unfold in the following four years.
Not only we lose almost all firearms (except bolt actions), but we also lose handgun collections "en masse".

Just got a call from mike - he said he wants to buy all my Tavors and AR's -- I said sure.

Can you imagine how this will impact businesses right away. With so much ambiguity on how aggressively Trudeau is going to pursue this gun control agenda who is going to want to purchase a restricted firearm.

moving to the us isn't as easy as you seem to think.

Based on Trudeau's minority status, he may have trouble getting any firearms legislation passed.

Many NDPers are pro gun and he's going to need them to pass anything.

Chin up. It may not be all bad.

Trudeau has had his wings clipped, which MAY slow him down.

You might think I’m joking, but as of tonight everyone on this medium, talking about our firearms, will be targeted by the new Liberal government. And yes u will lose your personal possessions and wealth (buy back my ass).

So.... what exactly does the minority mean for our cause specifically? I know everyone wants to lose it about the libs but does the fact that it's a minority with conservative opposition help our cause????

Guys relax, it's going to be a minority government.

C-71 already has royal ascent so they already have a tool to pursue the gun control agenda. Secondly, to have confidence they will likely get in the sack with the NDP, who have a similar view on gun control.

I’m going to have to disagree with you That many NDP are pro gun. Sorry, but no.
Of all legislation to be debated, this is one issue they will agree on, no question.

It does help our cause, unless other parties join the Liberals in passing a bill. The Bloc are not necessarily pro-gun but much better than the NDP and Liberals who supported an outright ban. In other words, ####e could still hit the fan but that's just my opinion.
