Lol 2027 for the MRR
Will the Inglis Hi-Power's be available for purchase?
IOC for a new pistol in June of 2020 is even more hilarious. Its been more than a year since there was any news on where this even sits.
The winner of CAFSAC this year will win not because of marksmanship, but because of their ability to locate and retain possession of a functional pistol.
They should buy the Sig 320 for the single reason that this is what the American's bought.
There is not enough difference between the Sig and other similar designs pistols for the average soldier to notice. They can save themselves a lot of time money and heartache by just directing the procurement to Sig than having another expensive and stupid tender that could likely result in a shotgun winning the competition.
And here we go again -
1) Will the replaced small arms be sold to the public?
2) Why does it take so long?
3) "They" should just buy the (insert brand of choice)?
4) Why don't they just send everything back through DIEMACO for (insert pet peeve of choice)?
5) Heck, back in my day ........
Oh, and
6) What is the best polar bear defence small arm issued to the CAF?

This post was the highlight of my day with #6![]()
Anyone else think that a 6 x Scope on a gpmg is not a good idea. Yes it can increase your hit probability at extended range, but with a limited field of view you might not see the soldiers you are providing covering fire for.

Last time no one wanted to give Colt Can the proprietary info on their design specs so no one wanted to play, I'm guessing this won't be much different. 8000 pistols is a medium sized police department, so no real impetus to participate.
