222 Rem Rechamber to ?

Sell it and get a 22/250. Or keep it and get a 22/250.

You can make a shovel into an axe, but its an expensive axe and you don’t have shovel anymore.

There is your best option right there, keep it or sell it if you wish and pick up something with more zip like the 22-250 or something similar if that's what you are looking for.Personally I would be leaning towards keeping it.

Seeing as nobody else can read/realizes you already have a 223, 22-250 and incoming 22 creedmoor......I would agree with double gun and say build a 6x45.

Lol, that's what happens when you skip posts combined with a few shots of booze. I now stand corrected and you do in fact need something besides another 22 caliber, as noted above the 6X45 would be an interesting choice.

If I owned your rifle and wanted a different chambering I'd do

1 sell it and buy what I want
2 spin the barrel off , replace with a factory tighter twist barrel in .223
3 replace with a custom barrel in your choice of chambering
4 rechamber existing barrel

Yep in a 1 in 12 twist very accurate.

I only purchased it instead of a standard 223 because the price was right and came with dies.

It's become a favorite.

I also have 3 222 including a custom Sako, Ruger #1

2 custom 6x45 Sakos

1 custom 6x47 Rem on a 600 action actually a custom barreled 222 rechambered an rebored by RKS

And a very accurate 223 Remington 783 HB

IIRC, Matrix ran a batch of bullets. Not sure if they still have the dies and would run another batch.

The bullet dies were Douglas's, he bought them for Matrix to make the bullets but then when Matrix changed owners the dies were returned to Douglas. There is a note on matrix's homepage that states they'll make special runs if you pay for the dies though, so it's likely possible to get more made if you've got deep enough pockets.
