Chinese or Russian Tokarev?

Here are mine and from top to bottom / best to worst are.

Chinese
Russian
Yugo
Romanian

The Romanian has a nasty habit of the slide locking open when there are still rounds in the mag. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and haven't really looked at the problem yet but I think the problem is in the mag.

Nice group of Tok's, I don't have a Romanian yet, 1 heavily refurbed Russian, some new Polish and Yugo's and a Chinese M54, going to get 1 or2 more M-54!

I have both the russian and a chinese and to tell ya the truth there is not a lot of difference. The round kicks a bit which is why i think some people think they are not that accurate...but fun at the range...very powerful unde-rated cartridge. Wish they had a captured spring/guide rod like the m70a. Would love to have a polish as i have heard they have the nicest finish.

Anyone remember the Canada Ammo copies in 9mm that sold for $99? ah those were the days circa 2008

Sadly no, I missed that, but got other great deals from Canada Ammo, not much in the way of deals out of there lately! I got a couple Nork 1911-A1 unlabelled with a crate (1000 rounds) of .45acp for $500. Shipped!!! Dang those were the days.

I wish Canada Ammo would bring in more of the target style TT33 grips they had a while back.

They looked great, were relatively inexpensive, and were gone before I could order them.

Cheap, good grips.

I got those Cytec grips in black.. I find them just a bit to chubby,
Cytec also makes the outside carry holsters with the paddle release
I think I got then from Canada Ammo a year or so ago???

I bought one of those 213 norc 9mm toks. Thing patterned like a shotgun. Worst pistol I have ever owned. Promptly sold. A FEG hi power happily replaced it.

I'd still buy a real type 54 though or any military tok for that matter.
