So I ordered a hand guard from Brownells and received an email two day later in regards to fill out this export form and explained the reasoning. This has been my first purchase from them and wasn’t a ware of the form, I filled out all the high lighted sections. It asked to sign at the bottom and after a while I figured out how to use the pen in the PDF but let’s say it looks like my daughter signed it lol. Ok so ultimately I’m hoping it don’t get rejected and how much longer after will I have to wait to see if everything is good and I’ll receive my package? Thanks everyone

If it’s over $100USD but under $500USD you fill out an end user agreement, Sandy usually replies within 48hrs of it being submitted that it is attached to your order. Package arrival depends on the border, normally they ship in stock items within 3 days of the order being approved and, if applicable, the paperwork being sent it.
Ya, on average I'd say they hold my orders hostage 7-10 business days. I have had a couple that were in and out of there same day but I've also had one that sat there over 3 weeks.
Also no rhyme or reason to whether or not they charge me the $10 fee and Canadian taxes or not. I made 3 orders from the Black Friday sale and the two cheapest orders got dinged by them but the most expensive order got a free pass
Guess it just depends what mood they're in.

Weird. My Black Friday Brownells package took about a week to process (due to me not knowing how to fill the form properly), was shipped on the 11th and slated to arrive on the 23rd. I don't think that's too bad. CBSA only had it for a day.

They don't trans-border with UPS. It's USPS to Canada Post. Worst case is $9.95CAD plus taxes if CBSA looks at it.

It's been that way for quite some time. If your items are not on the 'export license list' then no paperwork is required.
Tools, books, etc are exempt.
Brownells has multiple shipping options. Don't select any of the couriers and you won't be hit with brokerage fees. I think the option I check is "priority mail international". It leaves Brownells via UPS but gets passed off to US postal service who takes it to the border. Once it clears customs it gets shipped to you by Canada Post. I think it's about the cheapest option as well.
Boy, I sure hope that's what is going on with my package... Says UPS all the way so far, am afraid if it shows up via UPS as per their terrible track record with "brokerage fees" adding up to more than the cost of the entire order.
Didn't UPS get to reimburse (and I presume stop) all the fake brokerage fee bull#### last year?

Which shipping are you selecting to get USPS to Canada post. Mine comes brown then Canada post which usually ends up being 20 bucks when I go pick it up at the post office.
