You may be a gunnut if...

No pineapples - HG80 mini's (like a modern V40 that works)

Did not included my MP-5 (in Baghdad for looking "cool" in the IZ, actually its a useless toy and no one will buy them now) or two other FN's and 7 M4 lowers that went to Baghdad today...

in any case im greener than that blanket with envy.

This is my safety sir.... ;)

For all the paranoia out there a readied gun is perfectly safe. The only problem is the user.

Mom would be proud! No need for warning bells and seatbelt lights here:D

I did notice a bit of a trend with your guys post. Lots of CGN eye candy:50cal: but unfinished drywall ect and old bedding ect.... wtf nothing left after all the toys?jk:p:D

Kevin

Awesome tools you have there. You always have a well thought out reason for how you set up your guns, so what are the benefits of running the VFGs so far out?

Thanks, ZM

Kev,

I see you've converted the the PMAG in a big way & hell hasn't frozen over. :) Now that you've been using them for a while what's your opinon/take on them? Do you like them better/worse than standard USGI mags? How do they stack up to the Swiss Arms/SIG mags for the SIG 552's in the pics?

I felt like devaluing Strangedays post...

Actually cleaning my room I noted that I had way too much stuff in it.

I have been scanning your and strangedays photos for hidden messages - kinda like in the davinchi code:cool:!. So far all I've been able to come up with is that you have no interior design ability and strageday doesn't know how to drywall:D

I had the FN sitting in the CAT car with a mag of AP, it was soley for disuading vehicles that had been hardened to a point.

I love the PMAG - to the point it all I run on the road and range - the USGI sit in the villa defence pile. Too many issues with the Hk mags so they got binned.

RPD - I'll take some stuff at the range, I got some spare parts in from the US this week and the top cover actually fits properly now - plus 6 more belts. They are in the Suburban

PKM - same loc as the RPD.

As for BBQ Whoa's rather uneducated filthy comment - well the little amount of dust on the outside does not affect function. Unlike others my weapons dont reside in Mom's basement ;)

I'm not a big Sig fan as some know ;), I had two in my room, and figured I should finally got lock them in the armoury. From my experience the PMAG is a better mags than the Sig polymer - however we have only had the PMAGS here for 7 months - and the Sig mags habve been here 2 years...

The M21SB is in the room since I'm bringing it to Baghdad to turn into HQ and remove from our books.

Try it and you'll know. On a short rifle it makes it way easier to point. I moved my VFG's out after an informative post from Kev, you notice the improvement instantly.
I for one didn't care for it. I remember years back on LF a guy there was swearing by it so I too tried it. Wasn't a weight issue, it just felt clunky -*for me* I think I'm just a magwell holder. I go back and forth on this, however.
Two things though, I'm not shooting full auto (obviously), and I only use my AR in civvie-gamer mode ;)
