Man, these prices are insane and I have to seriously question their morality.

People charging $6500 for a Modern Sporter, and $2200 for FX-9s. I understand the polictical climate, but in a time where we need to be unified its like poeple on here are just trying to screw there fellow shooter.

It says right in the EE rules that is supposed to be a not for profit system, based on mutual respect. That clearly isnt happening.

After everybody has been effected by COVID-19 in someway negatively, after a heart breaking mass shooting in the Maritimes, being screwed by the government of our hunting rifles worth thousands, now I see the EE is filled with profiteers trying to screw each other over foaming at the mouth only because there rifle wasn't on the list. The Admin should take a list of everyone doing this and ban them for life.

It a little disgusted.

Chris

With the current landscape that has been presented to us, I think that people have every right to list their firearms for what they want, especially if only a select few are still available. The alternative to people buying these that are willing to pay those prices, is not having access to them at all, and for some it's worth the price. There are very few real fun range toys still available, and because of Turdeau of course there is going to be a huge markup on prices, thank the gov for that.

I want an ACR, and they retail for like 3300... I haven't seen one on the EE for UNDER 3500... just goes to show, when you have something unobtainable you can ask what you want for it... my loss..

What you should be questioning is the morality of the people who just created the demand for these rifles by arbitrarily prohibiting the property of law abiding Canadians.

Chris, the EE is the one that is not suppose to make a profit. Seller can make a profit if they chose to. If you are not happy with their price, than move on but don't get bent out of shape about it. There are enough guns and gun stores out there that you can buy from. Don't get guns confused with PPE where there is a shortage, people are hording and profitting on while placing the health and live of others on the line.

11K though....

There are Bolt actions listed on the OIC that many have bought for more than that $11K price tag you are complaining about. You would be doing the same thing to preserve as much of your initial investment in your property. Political will has just created this demand for existing NR MSRs...Welcome to the new order!

If you're interested in the gun, make an offer. If you don’t, why start this thread to begin with. Who cares what the asking price is. Matters what someone is willing to pay.

i do think its ####ty that some choose to dump some of there guns at those prices 2 days after this anouncenent.

seas get rough for a second and abondon ship? or talk about truly opportunisitic capitalists? not my call to judge thou I know some are gonna be in a world of hurt soon with no paycheque showing up.
