LL is our best hope. I'm on her side and my 12 year old leftist daughter is buying in to the LL agenda. My leftist kid MAY even support LL over JT, I mean ###### face.

This is a huge win for me, and sorry but this only works because LL is female. My kids will not entertain any old white conservative men to lead the country. That ship has sailed my friends. I want our country back, if LL can swing my leftist, pronoun spouting, transgender friendly daughter, then trust me - - we can win in a landslide.

This is not about winning just ONE election, this is about a direction for our country and all of you need to dip your head into the toilet and get some fresh water on your face.

General physicians (ex: your family doctor), are MDs (it's a Masters; the preferred path is to go straight from a Bachelor degree to med school. My sister didn't get in the first time so she earned an MSc in Biology and got in the second try). MDs who go on to specialize (Doctorate) then earn PhDs. (My sister graduated from medical school with an MD, then did a PhD in Rehabilitation.)

Incorrect. An MD is and PhD have nothing to do with each other. They are mutually exclusive streams. A MD specialist is not a PhD unless he or she does the extra (academic) work in an alternate discipline to earn the PhD. Your sister, if she is a physiatrist/rehab doc, became one without a PhD. She was accepted into a medical residency program. She did the PhD separately. Not all specialists are PhDs.

Anyone one who is a PhD is a doctor in that discipline. Whether you find that funny or not doesnt change that. There are levels of expertise in a subject matter: Bachelors, masters and PhD(doctorate).
 
I have to say ,I was disappointed with all their answers to the ban.They all should have said We will look at the list ,if there are any hunting/sporting guns on it ,we will remove them.But we believe that any military fully auto rifles will be banned.
 
done and done. Lewis is getting my vote. She is the only candidate with no political baggage, has made a firm stance on fixing our firearms regulations and is committed to the democratic process.
 
Things are tight for me right now moneywise but I figured if I didn't at least TRY to help I wouldn't be able to respect myself so, membership DONE! The donation will come when I'm able and only if I see something being done.
 
Thanks people for pointing out about doctors. I wish some kept a scintilla of sense of humor in this very serious debate. It seems that those supporting Lewis first point out her race and gender as an advantage. Merit comes second, even if it does at all. Well, it's not good enough for me. In addition, she is already a one time loser in the past elections. Why would you want to bet on some unlucky person. I also listened to every candidate running for the leadership. I'm sorry, but she is the least exciting out of all of them. Even good ol' boy Derek Sloan sounds better, if you want to go on the basis of personal charisma.

That doesn't seem like a good plan.

You may not like MacKay or O'Toole, but clearly Mackay is worse than O'Toole for conservatives. At least put O'Toole 2nd on the list after Lewis.
 
Lewis won't win the nomination or the PM. Her video interviews appear too soft spoken and unaggressive. She has no government experience. There is no reason to believe she can win simply because she is black and a woman. Appearance is everything and she reminds me of Oprah, not a world leader.

Sloan is hardcore pro-life. Pro life won't work to win votes and you can bet it will come up in debate a lot.

That leaves O'Toole and MacKay. An old school irishman and a befuddled playboy.

I have no idea who I'll be voting for-but I will be voting.
 
I think we all need to come back to reality and realize that CGN users are not the only ones voting for the leadership race here guys...

At this point in time new polls from Main Street Research suggest that MacKay is in first with 40% of the vote, O'Toole with 34% Lewis with 9% and Sloan 5%. My vote will go to O'Toole and Lewis as second choice.
