What is the lowest price decent centerfire handgun on the market today?

I’m in the mood to purchase another handgun, but my finances are limited. Just wondering what everyone has seen or had experience with lately.
I prefer 9mm, just cause I like to shoot and ammo is reasonably priced.
Revolver or pistol, doesn’t matter.

Define decent. Everyone has a different definition. It can range from a Norcinco knockoff to a Sig P210 or x5 to a Tanfoglio to a M&P9....even a Glock, if you can believe that.

I'd go with a Sig X5 if I was you. Then there is no question on the 'best' part....

Or a S&W Model 14, (K38 Masterpiece) that's actually a fantastic revolver at a reasonable price, .38 is easy to reload with good results.

Girsan Mc 28 can go for real cheap, and is a knock of of the S&W M&p 9 just made in Turkey. Before this covid nonsense I saw some go for like $300.

if you like all steel, the Jericho or IWI baby eagle / 941 is great for the money. It is a CZ 75 variant which tend to work for a large cross-section of people. Should be able to fined them at $600 or less.

I buy ammo from them once in a while when I pass through Monkey Town.

Smoking deal was CZ P10F for just over $400, they had a bunch, all gone before I could run it by the finance committee ((

Canik series great for the price

I agree with this statement, the canik tp9sa mod 2 is a great pistol for ~ $550. The Girsan MC28 can be found between $299 and $350 which is also a great price for a pistol that is decent (I've over 1000 rounds through mine in the last 6 months). My next buy will be a CZ Shadow 2, but that is significantly more.

If budget is of concern, I'd consider getting something used. You can find some decent Glocks, S&W M&P, H&K SFP9, Any P-Series Sig, used at decent prices. Most people never even break in their guns let alone wear them out.

Tara TM-9 9mm , copy of a glock 17 is a great starter gun. Goes for around $300. Made in Montenegro and used by special forces.
