Looking to buy my first gun after dealing with a less than pleasant CFO who encouraged me to withdraw my application multiple times (I didn't and got my PAL!). I was originally looking at the Ruger 10/22 but I've been leaning more towards getting a 22cal lever action now.

Do you guys think lever actions will be on the chopping block?

Chance of levers being hit is slim right now. But in general total disarmament seems to be their goal. First it was full auto. Then they went for small hand guns and black rifles. Now its sporting rifles. The list of acceptable firearms and the hobbies surrounding them is shrinking because safety isnt the goal disarmament is.

With that said enjoy the hobby. If you want a good lever in .22lr try a henry h001 lever action. They are chambered for .22l, 22s, and 22lr all in the same firearm and they go for 400 to 450 new. Really enjoy my buddies henry they make good stuff.

Anything that fires a projectile, including crossbows, nothing will be over looked. Never forget their main goal is civil disarmament.

California went for lever action rifles that hold 10 rds so SASS moved their big shoots out of the state.

NO GUN IS SAFE !!!

I'm amazed anyone would think otherwise.

Have you seen those cowboy action shooters on YouTube? They can rattle off rounds down range quite fast, so of course the every day regular shooters can do the same in the eyes of the antis.

They will take all they can period. UN total disarmament is the end game. And Trudope signed us on to that a few years ago.

The mossberg 702 .22lr that has plastic shrouding that resembles an AR proves the people populating the list have no clue.
