Anyone else have a challenge splitting the GSG16 cases?

I removed all the screws seems to be binding from the magazine to barrel area? Just had Dlask install the short barrel.

lol, yeah. But if you look at what happened to Walmart Greeter... it's a shame.

I wondered about sharing the stl/model for my front sight hood because of that, but in the end if you don't share with the community, what's the point?

I allow people to use/print the hood, and for those that don't have a 3D printer, I sold a pair for a reasonable price given the time for the design/material costs/etc.

I find that this encourages us to be a better community in the long run.


I'll probably do the same for the rear sight base im working on for an unmodified receiver:

I've uploaded a few things on Thingiverse with a CC Non-Commercial license but like anything else unfortunately someone will always rip the item and try and sell it.

What is your username @Thingiverse if that is where you upload?

why is it a shame? he said he has made lot of money and it couldnt be protected but i like your community spirit. this is our hobby afterall.

It's a shame when someone else uses (i.e. steals) your IP and sell it off/etc; or just start selling it off as well, even when you license it open source/non-commercial.
