Norinco Poll

Ok guys, for my first handgun, I'm interested in either a Norinco NZ-85B (CZ) or the NP-22 (SIG) style. Which would be the better choice? They are the same price on Marstar.

I have had great luck with Norinco products; my advice is hold them both, shoot them both, if possible, and opt for the one that pleases you the most. Regards, Richard

I like SIG better than than CZ so I'll vote for NP-22... but think NZ-85B might be more durable.

I'm in no rush, I'll just have to wait. If they say it won't be for a few months before they get a shipment in, then I will mostly buy the NZ-85B

Buy the NZ-85.

They may have improved since, but they had problems with their alloy framed pistols failing.

handle real Sig and CZ that will at least give you an idea of how they feel in your hand ergonomics are very important...

Out of those 2 the NP-22 but I would personally buy soemething else

Nz-85B. All steel. But as advised earlier, hold a Sig and a CZ and see how they feel for you.

I just fired my NZ-75 for the first time the other day. (It's the same as the NZ-85 but with controls only on the left side.) I'm only an average shot but on the first group of five I put four of them inside a four inch bullseye at 15 yards. The other shot was about an inch and a half off the group. This suggests to me that it is an extremely accurate pistol. If the gun fits your hand and meets your other requirements it's hard to see how you could go wrong with one.

i got small hand,so I bought np 34, really nice gun, finish is good, only need pair of hogue grips, you are good to go

Friend of mine has a NP-22 and it works flawlessly. He recently painted it OD. It looks awesome...
