What are some of the sleekest most compact handguns on the market?

Brown Black Label 380 ACP is one I can think of. Any others?

I'm thinking because of the barrel length its going to be prohibited. It could be a funny caliber or secretly super old and thereby squeak into antique.. but its probably prohibited.

Yep 12-6, just because it is such a deadly weapon, according to the powers that want to be,LOL
I had a Black widow model one time, huge, 1.5" long 22 Mag,with a vent rib and target sights, I could even keep it on the paper at 10 yards.
This one I believe is one inch long, 22 short, haven't got it home yet.

The NAA Earl with the 4 and a quarter barrel would be the smallest restricted but the Sidewinder coming in 2nd would be more practical. Both still smaller than a 1911-380 although the 1911-22 with the poly lower weights less. I own all of them and as an experiment I find that the weight, size and shape of the 1911-22 the most comfotable to have in the pocket. Hard to beat the 9x17 though in terms of fire power and definatly a better slimmed down feel than my ppk or any of my snub noses.

The Glock 48 is the smallest pistol currently available in Canada that is not in a specialized status (i.e. 12.5, 12.6, etc). It is dimensionally right at, or VERY slightly larger than minimum specs.
They recognized the demand in Canada for a hand gun that was right on those numbers, built the 48 to accommodate that demand, and the 43X as an American counterpoint.
I got one of the first to hit the Canadian market, and it is one of the best Glocks they’ve ever made

Maybe one of the smallest readily available, but not the smallest. HK P7s and Boberg XR9 are smaller yet.

Wrong - the Bersa .380 is smaller than a Glock 48 and not prohib. I own one. Shoot great by the way and accurate for such a small gun.

In this picture the full size 1911 is just for reference. Below it on the left is the 1911-380. To the right of that is a ppk. Below the 1911-380 is a Colt 1908 Vest Pocket. And bottom left is the Baby Browning, and a Walther Model 9 is bottom right.

The smallest is the Walther Model 9. But in my humble opinion both it and the Baby Browning are actually too small for the average hands. They work fine, but getting the right grip to ensure you don't get slide bite (and a failure to cycle) is important. Both Browning and Walther made these to show off just how small they could make them.

I think John Browning hit a perfect combination of size and function in the Colt 1908 Vest Pocket (or it FN twin the model 1906). Quickly getting a proper grip is way easier, and the grip safety is a great addition in my thinking. They are much easier to shoot reasonably well.

From the picture you can see how slim the 1911-380 is compared to the ppk. That coupled with the inherent superiority of the 1911 trigger over the ppk's da/sa trigger, to me makes it superior for carry over the ppk even though it is slightly longer. But then again I'm a huge 1911 fan.
