I'm browsing their website and there is no more any Lever action or pump action guns in production. Will they comming up with new pump shotguns for the next year??? or they just sell semi?

I believe Winchester was bought by FN and they have shut down most if not all, of the North American production of Winchester guns. The Winchester pumps are now called FN pump , probably with a price increase, the Model 94's are no longer made.

Winchester as you knew it is history. I would bet in the next ten years there will be very few gun manufacturers left in the States. Remington is now owned by the same group that bought Chrysler corp. They are already doing some very scary things with the company.

Shame really. Some very fine firearms have been produced in North America:( Of course my favorite brand is Remington, and they too will probably fall by the wayside soon enough.

Your right.....that's why it "torx" me when people buy Chinese crap!!! Whatever happened to loyality to the manufacturers that support our way of life!!...We'll never get that from Communist China!!!

Your right.....Whatever happened to loyality to the manufacturers that support our way of life!!...

What happened to it? Well the manufacturers really didn't support our way of life and were only loyal to what supported their way of life! $$$$$$

That Ford guy had a good idea. Everyone who labored to make Ford cars would be paid enough to afford a Ford car. That was OK til along the way the manufacturers who became loyal to their way of life $$$$$$$ realized that to maintain their way of life $$$$$$$ they needed to convince the majority that they should replace their Ford before in was worn out and that they would even be more loyal to thier way of life $$$$$$ if they would get rid of the idea that everyone who labored to make their product needed enough to be able to afford it.

Now North Americans in general can not afford to buy the products they produce and manufacturers can not afford to produce their product in North America. Loose.. Loose for everyone!

Now does anyone think that those who own Winchester really give a ####? I think that the plan is to wait a respectable amount of time so the American Union people won't sqwak too much when good ole Winchesters will be made in Japan, China or Turkey or wherever the manufacturers can remain loyal to their way of life $$$$$$$.

Whatever happened to loyality to the manufacturers that support our way of life!!...

They do not deserve our loyalty. Now I am not going to rid myself of my old Winchesters and Remingtons, but I prefer made in Japan or anywhere other than the USA! but I am also not kidding myself, and know that wherever my firearms are made I am allowing someone to be loyal to their way of life$$$$$$

Have you priced a used Mod. 70 lately? Prices just keep going up. And I am not even talking about the pre/64 stuff.

The revived Model 70 is virtually the same gun that FN is producing as a Browning in their same factory in U.S. The old New Haven factory is closed. FN might produce some more "special edition" model 94's in the Miroku factory in Japan like they produced the special edition model 1895's, but as far as a blue collar deer hunter's model 94, I think you can forget it, as they obviously don't think they can make money on it.

And since when did Winchester.....Remington.....Savage .....etc. ever make a product that was economically unreasonable???? They have all gone above and beyond the call!!!! We are talking guns, not cars!!! And I said "Communist China" .....I made no reference to Japan!!! And the whole idea of building a business is to make$$$$$$.........so support freedom loving individuals.....not Communists!!!:)

I only mentioned Ford because it stated as a good american co. and its founder had best intentions. CarZZ or gunZZ it is all the same. BTW the original intention for the Model 21 was to be economicaly reasonable. Now look at where it ended. Japan was once the enemy much like the com china is today.

I sure would like one example of any of the american companies going beyond the call?

Chill down, buddy. There hasn't been any Chinese gun imported to US since 1990.

north american manufactures have never existed to support "our way of life", they are only interested in making a profit. show me the loyality from north american manufactures to support "our way of life".......when their profits are being invested in capitalist China and cheap Chinese labour.

Methinks your riding a dead horse to last place fast if you consider North American firearm companies to be any better.
