Rough weekend at hunt camp! (graphic content)

A few pictures from this years surplus doe tag meat harvest, we got 4 fawns, 4 does, a small buck, and me and my buddy hit a big 8 point on the way back which really sucks, and we broke its antler off which was an extra disappointment, although we did ducttape it back on later.
so the 10 are now hanging in the garage.. all in all a good weekend.

The original post says eight point, which it is, and ten deer hangin.
We only count the points on one side out west so our deer seem smaller and less people travel out here leaving more game for us

we were on a narrow highway and that buck came right out of the bush full throttle right in front of us. I was in the passenger seat and there was only time to utter one choice expletive and it was all over

we have some work to do now, but our skinning, butchering, sausage making team runs like a well oiled machine...

One of the good things about Ontario.
Call the Ministry and they send you a Roadkill tag.
Car in front of me hit this.
We had road maintenance workers help load this one.

Ont like much of the lower 48 counts total tines not sides. Something that I find i still tend to resort to. I still get caught up calling a 4 point an 8 point and my buddies all give me a strange look and then I westernize my vocabullary for the rest of the trip.
