This project and Type 03 rifle was given to one of our competitors several years ago. Too bad they never made anything out of it. For the same reason T81's won't be going to other importers, we also have to respect the boundaries set out by manufacturers.

Weren't the type 03 CS/LS7 deemed prohib??

A belt fed RPK is literally the ultimate gun because it would bypass the 5 rounds mag limit law.

The law states:

PART 4Prohibited Devices
Former Prohibited Weapons Order, No. 9

Former Cartridge Magazine Control Regulations

2. (f) is of the “belt” type consisting of a fabric or metal belt, is not a reproduction and was originally designed or manufactured for the purpose of feeding cartridges into a automatic firearm of a type that was in existence before 1945

So unless they designed it to take belts from a machine gun from WWII, it would still be limited to the 5 round rule.

That's interesting. The Chinese are usually the first ones to understand that business is a dog eat dog kind of world. It's like war and if you don't plan your move quick enough, someone else will get it first.

Also, factory was impressed with rate first shipment sold out, it gives the Canadian market more credibility and possibility for more and exciting projects that we have been asking about.

Question from Mike: Why 2 tracking number for 1 Type 81 and 1 drum mag? And only 1 tracking number is processed. The other tracking number just shows "Information submitted".
