Is the type 81 lmg trash ?

Soooo... you would sell me an MP7 semi-auto for only $1200 if you had a few dozen sitting around the house knowing full well you could fetch $3-5k each for them? I mean, if 1200 was the price HK was selling them for you should sell them for that price too, right?

Come on, give yer head a shake. People will pay what people will pay. TI could have easily sold all these rifles exclusively to dealers and they would set the market price. Do you honestly think the price would stay low?

Apples and oranges!
Some were selling theirs even before they received them. I get the free market and all but this was just wrong!

I have only ever tried to get out of a firearm what I got into it.

Are, say, hockey tix resellers f@cking over other fans?

I have season tickets. If I can't go and I sell them, I sell them at face value. I usually give them away as a gift, such a birthday present. I was donating them to children's hospital, so parents could take their sick kid to a game.

The buyers that overpay are just as dumb as the sellers that gouge.

A little bit of patience.. more will come... or something cooler will...

So many of them on the EE at the same time .

Is it because its bad ? or just the economy that tanks and people need cash fast ?

It seems super weird how many there are are the same time. Did not see that for the Stag 10...

1. Resellers looking to make a profit.

But also:
2. Fickle, stupid people who say "I love this gun, I'll never sell it" and a few weeks later they're selling it.

Whoa hang on guys back off... Rebel is obviously a multi millionaire and takes care of serfs like us who can't otherwise afford the coolest new toy that every kid on the block wants!!

Seriously though, just a free market phenomenon and this notion of folks making spread on others has been debated to death on other threads. There's something called "the greater fool theory" if anyone cares to Google. If there is a buyer going into it knowing full well that he/she is paying a spread, then by all means.

@Rebel what team do you have season tix for? I'm always on the lookout ha.

Its a military grade gun certainley not trash like some cobbled up civilian gun

lol "Military grade" does not mean of good quality, or modern. It just means built to an agreed list of specifications.

Yes with many items that means it will be hard wearing but that may not be true or mean it works well with something else. The SA80 A1 and INSAS rifles are for example "Military Grade" but abhorrent

Well my question was honest as I found it super weird to see so many Type 81 at the same time on the EE. I don’t rly understand why some people get so riled up but hey, to each his own.

I’l go enjoy my SKS now.

People bought multiple units to sell for profit. More demand than supply at the moment so people bet on that demand and sell at a higher price than they bought at.
The lmg isnt junk , I put 250 rounds through mine last weekend and it didn’t skip a beat. Hits out to 300 meters on a 2/3rd size torso plate no problems at all. https://flic.kr/p/2jQzxLG

Well it is Chinese...you'd have to be a traitor at this point to continuously and actively support Chinese companies (of course, its unavoidable in many ways for many products)

The Liberal party is already bought and paid for by Chinese mafia donours, the average Canadian gun owner might as well bend over and offer themselves to their new masters as well.

Maybe when the inevitable Chinese take over occurs, they will allow us to keep buying their commie guns? The chicom take over can't be full of gloom can it?

Buying these rifles is nothing else than stockpilling for the mean times. I dont have time to shoot all the firearms i buy in a year. I cant let it go without buying since we dont know what will happen in the future, in doubt take no chances , buy two. Period.
