Just clarify further. Ed was retained for a separate action that I unknowingly started but it became a conflict with the action I am supporting with CCFR.
This latest events is totally separate from all other pending litigation.

It appears that the CFO here is trying to enforce the SFSS's FRT OPINION as law.
On advice of council I can't go into further detail at this time, but our legal team is working to resolve this latest assault on us all.

Why TF didn't Kenney appoint a provincial CFO.

You might even be in his constituency. I'd be writing letters, making calls first and foremost.

Another case with huge implications... perhaps the government will be forced to concede the the FRT is law and they have been inappropriately delegating power to the firearms labs, or that the FRT isn't worth the paper it's written on.

I've been chewing over that exact question myself. And don't forget the CGC allegedly had input into "classification" .
 
I always thought FRT's were just opinion? are the NWMP, or I mean the RCMP still not following their own laws. You'd think after decades of them being called for breaking laws and breaking human rights laws they'd finally end up following them. Nope.

Precisely. God forbid anyone else break the laws but the feds can with impunity it appears. Between them making them up as they wish to outright breaking laws, always trust the feds, they will never disappoint in that regard.
 
Donated, keep us updated and best of luck, let us know if there is more we can do, feel so helpless with all the underhand things the government has done in this pandemic.
 
I just checked the atrs site and they've taken all of their rifles and recievers off sale. I feel so bad for rick and all the employees.
 
I can still see products including reciever sets for sale.
I'm no techno wiz, nor do I use the latest whiz bang set up and software, so dont know if I am accessing sone archived website?

There are more than a few canadian manufacturers and retailers that have been and are being irreparably harmed by this ban, and over turning the ban will not come remotely close to making them whole.
 
This is just my opinion, but I truly believe whatever happens with ATRS will set precident going forward.
Some companies that had their products frt status simply tucked in their tails and agreed to whatever rcmp said ( not laws).
Atrs has stood their ground and the fight came to them. We need to stand behind them , more now than ever!
Even if you aren’t a customer of ATRS, or even dislike them for whatever reason, we as a gun community need to stand strong with them!
