So this is a dealers site and I don't want to squabble here. I'm out and my apologies for clogging up your thread Wolverines. PMs are available for the combatants.

Give me a break. If I go out and get covid I might be fine, but my immunocompromised roommate will likely die from it. Tons of people have already died from it and more and more people are contacting it every day, I can't believe how selfish and ignorant people are in response to this whole thing, that people's safety and well-being is surpassed by your need to go get a haircut or whatever. Don't get me wrong lockdown sucks, but it beats getting myself or somebody I care about sick.

The average age of COVID death is higher than the average life expectancy. Like you say, if you live with an immunocompromised (or elderly) person, you should be very careful and avoid outside contact. Protect the vulnerable and let the rest of us keep the place running.

Because you're an obese mouth breather who needs 3 times as much air as the average human being when you're walking around the food court, meaning if you're infected you're spreading 3 times the amount of disease infected air droplets as when you're sitting down, gorging your meal? Just a guess mind you. Plus you're supposed to put your mask on between bites. Plus, what in gods name are you doing at the mall during a pandemic???

You need 5 times as much air so you infect 5 times as many people. How can you be here on cgn spreading your virus? Please go quarantine for 14 years.

Well said...

Where did you get the statistic that 14.1 million Canadians are currently infected? If only...

Oh crap... wrong number copied.

Corrected - thank you!

Hospitals haven't been overwhelmed/run out of vents YET. When they have to triage and make difficult decisions like no vents for diabetics or overweight (for example), then the otherwise preventable deaths spike. .

That was Justin Trudeau talking point from Apr 15, 2020.

Seven months ago and yet our governments is still pushing that "strategy" in mid November.

Let us look at some numbers;

31,170,000+ residence are in the 64 years and younger category: 4.56% of fatalities are between age of 00-59.

6,840,000+ residence are in the 65 years and older category: 95.40% of fatalities are over the age of 60.

Why are enforcing lock-downs on 31.17 million people, when Canada has seen less then 200 fatalities in the 00-59 group again?

I think there has to be a better way to approach this beside lock-downs. But then again, the simple act of analyzing facts to understand a problem or a topic thoroughly is now considered "anti-scientific", "not carrying about our veterans' and "tin foil hat" territory.

What a crazy world we live in...

COVID is fake!
That’s why it’s all over the news every day.
You repeat a lie long enough everyone will believe it.
Just like the twin towers!
And all other false flag operations to take away more of our freedom.
Wake up sheeple

You must be new to data analysis, which explains why you're dividing the wrong numbers. IFR in Canada is around 4.8%. That's on par with the Spanish Flu.

I rather take my chances with the virus instead of living like a scared little sheep. People are truly turning into cowards in this country. Scared of a virus with 98% survival rate... hahahahahah

I'm gonna have to fact check you on that number, the death rate in manitoba is actually a whopping 1.28% however if you're under the age of 50 that number moves to a terrifying 0.0117 and I can only imagine what it would look like if we let everyone have their freedoms and take responsibility for their own actions.....

You're entitled to your own opinion. You're not entitled to your own facts. If the numbers are big, there's no shame in using a calculator. Even smart people do it.

.03 percent of people infected dying isn't a pandemic, it's a scam and you've been suckered in. I'll call you tomorrow and get you to pay overdue taxes with Bitcoin around noon or you could face jail time if you don't!!

Your missing the point. It’s not about “getting a haircut.” It’s about the person cutting the hair. That person who can no longer pay the rent or buy groceries. Protecting the vulnerable among us is priority number 1 however that does not have to destroy everyone else.

Edit: Spelling and Autocorrect

Now that's pretty funny. Obese I am not but I hazard your handle is a road map to the latest diet trend. I actually move around most obstacles without a forklift. Your shamtastic post is so weak that a defibrilator won't raise your post count. Gorging a meal is pretty funny. How about you head over to off topics and check out what I chef up.

I'm gonna go out on a limb that you can barely boil water. People tend to project their weaknesses and based on your post, you cant cook water and waddle into to the food corral on a regular basis. If you have more game than that, please post up your meals on "What,s For Dinner" in Off Topics.

The point was, if you're concerned about masks while eating at a food court at a mall, you've got bigger problems. Obviously:)

But as the polite man before men just pointed out, this is a dealers forum; sorry for crowding the air with irrelevancy.
If you don't want to wear a mask, fine. Just have a care, the masks aren't about you. They're about everyone else, especially anyone else who's vulnerable to a pulmonary disease, the old, the infirm, the weak. That used to matter in Canada.
Lest we forget...

Manitoba- Mandatory masks, no freedom to visit family, everyone but salon workers deemed essential... Typical government bs, no logical decisions made. Alberta, masks are not mandatory, suggested 6’ distance and some common sense.. If Alberta moves to separate my only concern will be getting there fast enough. To me this isn’t about a virus, it’s about control and change.

Salons were shut down as well.... What is actually BS is there is.no quarantine for people arriving outside of Manitoba after travelling here...

You guys do realize you are being manipulated into fighting eachother, right?

Yes, we are.

Divide & Conquer is not a new strategy, but it works very well.

Masks, irrespective of what they can and cannot do, have become a great way of distracting people from everything else going on.

It is a readily visible tool to divide people into two groups, throw in some MSM and non-MSM viewpoints, stir frequently, bring to a boil, serve while fresh.
