OMG, i cant believe its here. type 81 LMG

Next shipment will be leaving factory in a few days! Also, once we are caught up on shipping we will be releasing a number of rifles that were held back in case of potential warranty claims. No pre-orders, first come first served, will be posted on our Facebook page and on CGN (no email announcement since it's not a ton of rifles).

heres your chance at a several before the next big shipment. the next shipment is according to TI arriving later this year so say dec? also in that shipment is a small numbers of phosphates.

aweful lot of type 81 lmg and non-lmg up for sale on ee. i dont think the next shipment in dec will sell out fast.

My guess is there were tons of people interested in trying one with little intention of keeping it long term. And they saw very little risk in such a purchase due to the expectation that they could always sell it for a small or large profit.

Sooo.. I have a phosphate and a standard blued.. And I have no idea how to tell which one is it. One of them is more matte and the other is glossy. That’s all I can see through the bags with a flashlight, I don’t wanna open them.

I wish TI would have done something to the bill at least to know the difference.

Hot damn! Twin beauties.

The matte one should be the phosphate
The bag that mine came in wasn’t sealed so I could pull the rifle out to check it out
Both yours have sealed bags?

All the EE ones have 300-600 markup on them.. Not so many people are willing to pay extra if a little bit of waiting can save you a few hundred bucks. I'm keeping mine anyways, it's a cool gun. Now waiting for accessories and parts kit.

Agreed, with one additional comment...

It would not surprise me if there was a price increase with the next batch seeing as how private sales with inflated prices seem to be moving...

TI already said no price increase in the next batch in dec and also its bigger quantity than the first shipment.

going forward into 2021, well, that will all depend on how fast the dec shipment sells out, i dont think it will. i think the market is already saturated (judging from the over a dozen on ee) and the novelty has worn off.

I wish I had gone through this thread sooner. I have my LMG at home, haven't had a chance to check it out yet. If I had known the drum was incapable of ever holding more than five rounds I never would have bothered. When are the replacement wheels expected?

Seeing as more than 5 rounds would make it an illegal prohibited device, what does it matter?

It's absolutely none of your business really but the novelty of such an item is simply not there if it is incapable of working as it should. I could have bought more mags instead. My bad for not going through all the threads I guess.

I'm looking to pick up a phosphate LMG from the next shipment then I'm much more interested in a couple regular Type-81 folders.
