TY s9s, I have not experienced any unusual problems with the angle or function of use. Besides only having 1 arm, LOL this set up is the safest way for me to operate the SG.

I did not believe other reviews until I patterned it myself, I was truly impressed at 150 ft from a Tac SG. With the CL choke at 90 ft you have a pattern tight enough to take a turkey without destroying it. I still want to try other brand ammo, non low recoil slugs, and birdshot but that will have to wait until some nicer weather.

Ty s9s for the kind words, it isn't no Spielberg production buts its the best I could do with the equipment I have. I definitely want to do some more "live" test/video that I want to share in the future.

I have the same mag extension but mine sticks out 3/4" or so. What am I doing wrong? I see pictures of other 1301 tactical both ways. I'd prefer flush to sate my OCD... Flipping it around didn't seem to make a difference.

Where did you purchase your ext from?

Make sure the end caps are screwed on completely, thats the only thing I can think of at the moment.

From what I can see on the NC mag ext fit guide perhaps you were sold the ext for the 21" inch barrel instead of the designated 1301 Tac kit.

My plan is to get an all black 1301 gen 2, cerakote it midnight bronze, add a +2 extension, some form of red dot and add an Urbino stock.
I've been out of the shotgun game for far too long and I need to ask, what are those side saddle shell holders that attach to the fore grip and hold two shells? They look handy and I've seen them in a few pictures online.
