I'm sure someone with more experience will chime in here, but for me while other brands of sub-sonic will work, the 710fps stuff just doesn't have enough jam to cycle.

The hammer spring is more than the round can overcome. I don't think there is a semi out there that will cycle .22 that slow. I used cb longs at one point, I just cylced the gun like a straight pull.
Don't have a spare and I am using a nice match bolt. Would hate to drill it and still end up with the same issue.
I think KIDD or someone out there makes a bolt for subsonic, but I can't thing of the name. It's black on color.
It will shoot the standard velocity all day. Just too much power for shooting in a barn.
Firefly is discontinued and impossible to find.
Look into chamfering you’re bolt, that’s the “catch” you’re feeing. https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=251031#/topics/251031
Kidd has lighter buffer springs available from dlask
Past that, people have tried lightening the bolt, reports are varied on how well that works.
Cci standard velocity is subsonic. I tried to get the 720fps stuff to work... but unless your willing to drill weight off your bolt just get the cci standard.
I also have the lightest kidd spring in. I tried a lighter spring but it would often fail to pick up a round and chamber.
If you are really serious about it, you will need to remove weight off your bolt and make it lighter.
The reason I want to use the 710's is because I am shooting starlings in a cow barn. Tons of them and got tired of cycling the bolt.
The standard will make a hole in the metal if I miss. The light spring from KIDD didn't do it.
I will buy a cheap bolt and drill that. The one I have now is a match bolt.
