Whoowee! Good on you Jamie, way to go! That's a dang nice buck and a nice brace of chickens Is there a story to go along with these pics?

We didn't have to go far to hunt deer and grouse this year. All were shot on my land. The deer was taken with one shot, clipped the top of the heart at about 40 yds. He didn't go 10ft. He has a two inch sticker on his third tine on the right side (tough to see in that pic)

As for the grouse, they were everywhere. The 410 was busy that day for sure.

That is so cool Randy, your son James is one lucky fellow to have a dad like you to exspose him to hunting like you do and he is a good hunter, congrats to both of you.

Thanks John, he is more of a nut for hunting than I was at that age for sure......I'd like to hook up with another CGN'er next year and go on a moose hunt up north....."crazy_davey" and I met and shared a spring bear hunt this year.....man, if every CGN'er is anything like Dave, we have the best site on the Web
