Made in Canada Spall Coated Level 3+ Steel Plates 199.99 per Pair

Just a quick update on where we are with the existing orders. The first 20 or so plates are off the line today and we expect that all of you will get tracking numbers on Monday. All the other plates are just waiting for final paint and packaging and we will be coming in this weekend to make sure they’re all ready for shipment next week. However we have to stagger the shipping so if you don’t get a shipping notification by Tuesday don’t worry, your plates are ready they will just be shipping out within a day or two. We do apologize for all the delays and we will try to get the lead times down but this is our first mass production run and we are still working out all the kinks. If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.

Just a quick update all of the orders will be out by tomorrow. Thank you all for your patience. Also just letting you know that some of your plates will have surface imperfections its just part of the process of how the spall coat goes on. I can guarantee that all of the plates we shipped out are structurally sound and none of the surface defects have any impact on the performance of the plate.

Yes it will be another pre-order. At this point we are pretty much making them to order. We are planning on expanding production as quickly as we can but as of this moment this next run will be another pre-order/ made to order batch.

Do we just email to preorder? I don’t want to miss the next batch :)

Just got em..... not to bad for $199. The edge of the anti-sprawl coating is alittle ruff on one of the edges and you can lift up the edge alittle on the other side. Stuck on pretty well though.

Thank you for your understanding. This is our first ever production run in any significant numbers and as we continue to produce them we will work on improving the final finish. Our primary focus is to make sure that these plates work as advertised and that’s our first priority and it always will be. Now that we have achieved that we will be doing our best to improve the final look and trying to work that into our process. We always are aiming to improve and give you the best product we can, and we appreciate you putting your faith in us at the beginning. We promise that your faith will be rewarded.

Could those rough edges could be sorted out with a bit of cyanoacrylate adhesive or contact cement? Would either affect the fabric integrity?

How long have you owned them?. They look like they were dragged behind a car......

Just pulled them out of the bubble wrap! The one plate is nicely finished, the other is alittle ruff with the anti spall material not all the way glued down. Good luck trying to get this stuff off it’s on there. Next time a friend is getting their new shinny trucks bed liner line-X / rino lined,I’m getting the front and back of the plates sprayed for free 1/4” thick. There is a light coat already on the back...These plates are a very good deal at $199.

For $199 for a set your lucky there’s not a gong hold in the top middle of these things lol.

@AITacticalSolutions I’m all for working at making a slicker product, however please don’t focus so much on looks that costs then go up to the point of either. Your plates are then on par and competing with others or B they become unprofitable to the point you stop making them. This is another instance in life where two 5’s are better than one 10...

P.S. Where’s my helmet with Visor, I am impatiently waiting!!!

Bed liner is not what you should be using, there is however a proprietary spall coating in which I had applied to my steel plates front and back that I purchased from AIT.

Sad part is that how many pairs of hands did these pass through with everyone "signing off" saying that it was acceptable quality. Certainly doesn't look like the advertising picture from post #1.
