How many magazines do you guys typically have for your pistols?

i also went with the 1 box rule- until kimmie screwed us up, then it's whatever i have on hand- so basically, it's 2 or 3 mags /gun, unless it's the 1911- it's special, don'tcha know

I like 7 for IPSC, and 5, like mentioned before to finish a box at the range. I load my mags at the range as well. Those mags you are buying for $60.00 must be made of gold!:p...shop around, you will find better prices. Cheers!

6 is a good number if you are doing IPSC, even if not, 2 can stay loaded with ready ammo and the rest for the range.

I have anywhere from only one to about eight. Stuff like my target .22s or S&W 52, I would have two mags. 1911s, CZs, S&W745 about eight to ten.

Old guns for collection may only have one mag. Then there is my 1912 Steyr which does not have a removable magazine.

I only load the mags at the range.

5 each, including speedloaders for the GP-100. If you are looking for beretta 92 mags, order the mec-gar from marstar. They are $35 and work mighty fine

I second this suggestion if you can't get em in Canada for the same price. Mec Gars are outstanding.

I have 10 - 15 mags for my competition pistols (IPSC, IDPA) and I try to have at least 5 for pretty much any centre fire handgun I own. I tend to have only 2 mags for rimfire handguns, mostly because they dont get shot much.

Should have four, but was only sent two. Still waiting for Strangeday to send the remaining 2. I have 4 for my glock 22, though...

I have a Beretta 92; I have the two original mags (pinned to 10) a factory 10 round, and three Mecgar nickle plated. I have only used each of the Mecgar mags maybe two or three times, but they work well so far. The drills we run at the range require 5 mags; it is nice to have the sixth if one craps out.
