Just a few pics from our clubs Sunday IDPA shoot. -24, windy, snowing, 6 inches of white stuff on the ground and we had 10 shooters out. Not too shabby for a club that just got affiliated. Imagine how much fun we'll have when it's spring time.

Another Glock benefit, your hands don't freeze to them when shooting bare handed. Here's one of me and my 19:

Sure looks like Siberia to me. Group pic:

didn't know Guns worked in the snow... all outdoor ranges shut down for winter around these parts... I always thought it was because of the snow...hehehe... Keep it up maybe it'll catch on

Two hours by car, Mass.

But why shoot indoors when you can shoot outside in the fresh air? Right Greg. Our .22LR shoot goes in two weeks. -16C today with a windchill of -28C. Should be nice and fresh for our shoot.

Four stages and head shots only.

Take Care

Smith Falls had a match on Saturday.

Willysman said it was fun but cold.

I could go because I had surgery on my right elbow last Thursday.

SFFGC match was fun!

I took about 95 pictures and am making a slideshow if them to put up.
Will upload soon.

Glad other clubs were out this weekend! Dress properly and cold isn't that much of an issue, mind you thinking was harder. Did I mention that I'm starting to hate steel plates?!!!!

Tim;

We should get Mass to host an IDPA entry clinic for our club in Hay River.

Mass;

You interested in doing a winter IDPA clinic here in hay River?

Great pics Stevo! I never like shooting indoors, much more enjoyable to be outside in the sunshine! I was wondering what the cost was for IDPA? Cheers!

Costs?

What costs are you referring to?

IDPA for members is relatively cheap compared to other shooting disciplines. Membership is $55 and will be going up and that is about it for the member.

No need for a fancy handgun. Just need a concealable holster, mag holders and at least 3 magazines would be nice.

The average person could get in for less than $100.

Well Peace River is sorta north....:rolleyes::D

I am really looking forward to coming down in the new year if you folks have any IDPA matches open to guests.....

You've shown there's hardly a tougher beast than a group of Northern GunNutz!

.

You "north of 60" guys, geez.;)

Tim, guests are more than welcome for club matches.

I just noticed how long the shadows in the group pic are. That was taken around 12:30pm.
