Buy a used Norc to try it then if you like it go spend a whole bunch more.
Bought a lightly used Nork about 3 years ago(still had a fair bit of brown packing grease in it) to try 1911 pat. pistol, with the idea that I would upgrade if I liked it. I figure it was traded because the sights were way off, and the original owner could not figure out how to set-up the adjustable rear sight that it came with. My intention was to "upgrade" if I liked it. I liked it but...
Long story short: I still have it; it functions perfectly (all I shoot is home loads). Its accuracy is increadible, and as Norks go, it is very nicely finished (Satin Chrome, target sight). The only upgrade I have done to it is Rosewood grips (only for looks, original hard rubber black grips are actuall a bit more comfortable.)
