A few friends were interested in these i really hope they got them. Trying to convince the wife for one of these but im likely going to have to thin the herd a bit. I don't really believe in that lol

Red dot and mount that works well

I found it very difficult to accurately shoulder and point this little shotty consistently. Tried a couple of red dots and mounts that did not work or work together. Got this combo to work great and it has improved the ability to hit stuff immensely, and the sight sits very flush with the rail :

...and when they say universal mount, truglow are referring to ribbed shotguns, for example, Bushnell red dots do not fit on this mount.
... also there is a fiber optic rib mount red dot for sale cheap on several websites, don't waste your money it only works in bright sunlight and is useless at dusk when you are likely to need it.

Ya i tend to agree that having to pull the mount of the base to change the battery is not what I would consider good engineering. Let me know if the Holsun fits on the base, I originally purchased a Bushnell red dot but it did not fit on the mount.
