Haha word to that, I can’t blame him, I’d be mad too if I invested $2000 in a rifle that’s hard to get $1400 for when people are buying up $1200 rifles and flipping them two days later for $2000.

I'm not sure why everyone is complaining so much, I bought a T81 fixed off the EE about a month ago, $1500 all in with shipping, guy was reasonable. Gun came in and wasn't cleaned but certainly didn't have much wear. I was worried it was bent as something just looked....off about it but I got out a laser level and a vice and it was just a canted gas block off by a couple degrees from center, the front and rear sight and end of the barrel are all in a straight line. I'm currently in the process of bubba-ing it into an AK-103 copy. It's a chinese rifle, we're in Canada, it's semi-auto in 7.62 and works out of the box and mags are $40 brand new from TI. It's the best it's going to get with Trudy in charge. Yes there's scumbags trying to flip them for $2000 but you know what the secret to that is? Don't fkin buy it.

well the way i read it: i do not see a review but a complaint and still do not get if the t81 is working for him or not ...
that is the problem we have in a capitalistic world: supply and demand ... there is some trying to sell valmet for 10000 and some are even buying cant wait to see in 10 years the value of a t81 when you can see the price requested for sks d ....
we re getting cold here i will try to try to see how the mag handle it ...

Type 81 at least works, is what I'm saying. Not the best gun in the world, but it actually has a service history, and it actually has some longevity to it.

TI still has them for $1500 new
I really hate this, the rifle isn't anything special and multiple stores have them for $1500 brand new right now. Why are people asking $2k for a used rifle that costs $1500. I sold my WX MCR just a few days ago for $1600, stores rarely get them in stock and when they do they charge $1550+ tax. The vast majority of the ads on ####### right now for MCR's are asking $2000+ for their rifles. Screw scalpers and the delusional.

Hope you like $2500 Type 81s. I move stuff by air for a living, it wouldn’t be my choice on my dime for heavy shipment of steel items.
