I like the red and phosphate. I’ll always take park over blue on a utility gun, way more durable and I like matte finishes. If one doesn’t like the red stain it’s an hour of sanding and $15 of tung oil away from blonde. I’d pay $200 just for the parkerizing / phosphate on any steel gun, the SE is a good buy.

Hell, I nearly paid a gunsmith to parkerize my First t81

I’ve got a question for any other owners/ is the picatinny rail completely proprietary? Or are there any other optics or rails that fit it? I’s like to not spend the 700$ after taxes and shipping for the Kobra when all I want is just the side dovetail to mount a POSP or some such. Do any Russian optics fit on the TI’s picatinny rail side plate?

Not without modifications

I think the brakes are only for the LMG version.

Thanks Derv, I'm aware of that.
TI mentioned they should have slant brakes for the latest order of LMG's after the holidays. Was hoping they'd be included in this shipment.
Any info on this??

what you need is a VZ58 slanted brake, it will fit the new shipment lmg with no adapter. they were plenty around before so place a WTB ad on EE.

I decided on fixed because you can take the stock off and replace it if you want, can't modify the folder because its part of the rear trunnion. And I like the look of the fixed better plus I don't see any real appeal of being able to fold it, I'm not jumping out of an airplane with it lol. Also not a fan of the right-sided safety. Might pick up a folder next shipment just to have one of each though.
