The Walther PDP SD Pro 9mm

Walther takes another step forward in the duty handgun market. Just like when Walther moved from the PPQ to the PDP, the SD Pro model makes minor tweaks into a huge shift. The SD Pro model will come from the factory with a threaded barrel, the Walther Upgraded Dynamic Performance Trigger, a reinforced optic cut, and a magwell extension.

The Upgraded Dynamic Performance Trigger isn’t just a shoe replacement for the stock PDP trigger, it’s an entire upgrade package, featuring a lighter trigger pull, a crisper reset, and a shorter take-up. The beveled and flared magwell, threaded barrel for a compensator, and upgraded trigger, scream 2/3-gun.

We have a bunch on order and expect to receive them in March 2022. These will have a 4 inch slide and 4.5 inch threaded barrel.
Estimate price is 999$

Time to buy my second one from you guys :)
Awesome, thanks! While we are trying not to do Pre-orders anymore I'd be happy to put your name down for one if you like. Give us a call/email.

Is this the 4" slide, 4.5" threaded barrel and 15 round mag length - PPQ mags?

Yes, 4 inch slide and 4.5 inch threaded barrel. They use PDP compact mags but will also work with PPQ mags, however, the PPQ mags being slightly longer will stick out from the gun ~1 inch.

Thanks you for confirming the mags as I have Q5 Match mags :)

Can you tell us anything about the "reinforced optic cut"?

What has Walther done?

Haw they milled out a chunk of slide and added a lug to the underside of the optic plates? Are the PRO version optic plates different from the current PDP plates?

I was about to pull the trigger on a PDP full size 5" a few weeks ago, I was stuck between the PDP and the Canik but now I'm glad I held off. The upgrades included look like a good value proposition compared to the standard model. When they come in stock I'll pick one up, haven't got into the optics-ready pistol game yet and I think this will be a great first entry.
