SOLD OUT: TYPE 81 SPECIAL EDITION -Shipment 2-

Placed my order at 12:03am (3 minutes after they dropped) and haven't heard a peep yet. Still says processing. Remaining cautiously patient. Ordered a folder and 3 additional mags.

The spare mags could be be coming separately and arrive later, at least you got some

Did some/most/all of you receive tracking numbers or did your order just show up

Sometimes I think the waiting is the best part of getting a new gun lol
 
This is the slowest shipment ever. I thought I got my tracking number but it was just some magazines. The rest was shipped 9 (!) days after my order and I ordered less than 10 minutes after the sale was on. Just shipping the rifles and the rest separate is a good idea but it appears they have a monkey doing all the shipping alone this time. I am pretty sure I could do it all alone in half the time (I did stuff like this before during semester break and it was awfully painful to watch people put orders together and pack). Seems the same people moved on and work for TI now.

I’d like to see you sell upwards of a thousand guns, verify PALs and then get shipping together faster. Not sure if you’ve done a transfer lately but they are doing more transfers then usual.
 
Got my full stock // 18 days with weekends and a holliday // well finished for a chi com // done strip assembly lube // 300 rds down range in the snow // no issues // very happy with rifle .

There is no transfer required. It takes 10 seconds to check the validity of a PAL for the dealer. They sold 600 in this shipment but not to 600 individuals.


edit: I ordered in every shipment, read. It is an awful lot slower this time and I ordered within 10 minutes.

In today's consumer market it's not normal to not have at least a tracking number 2 weeks after ordering. That's just the reality of today's world. Not like we're doing mail order by Sears catalog here, lol.
 
While vocal people complain about the shipment dates. There’s even more of us that are just patient and happy to get these rifles. My lmg took a while to get shipped out in the last order. But it’s still sitting in its box unfired from a fall of 2020 order. Not confident on what type I bought this go around. But when it shows up I’ll be happy to see it and glad ti is willing to put the risk out to bring these in.

their computer knows you ordered every shipment, they know you are flipping them so they put you in the back of the line, lol.
 
This thread getting bumped reminded me to open up the box after i picked it up at the PO yesterday. The red colour on the stock looks pretty cool. It's a nicer colour than my original one in my opinion.

Why would they though? They got your money instantly, and theoretically it'd be zero sweat to put that order at the back of the line, right? Especially since you're a shoe-in order for every shipment it seems, no matter how much they upset you with shipping times.

Between TI and yourself, only one seems to be doing any complaining here lol

Sell it to me… ;) I got a “not so nice” looking folder, honestly. Wood work isn’t all that clean which kinda bugs me. My dust cover is out of shape and rubs against the carrier… still doesn’t sit flush after some bending. That folding stock is sweet though. Removed the Bakelite covers so it folds nicely against the right side safety. I’m actually glad it’s on the right side like my former Vz.

Considering the shoddiness of mine … ima going to beat the hell out of it and abuse it… then put it on the EE for profit.
