Hey,

I have a browning 1919 and I am looking for a few things for it. Parts don't seem to come often on the EE and Marstar doesn't seem to be bringing in much for it anymore.

Any idea where I can find another barrel for it? Metal links, ammo cans for belts etc...

Am I able to import?

Apologize if these are newbie questions. Pretty new to the gun and can't find much info.

Thanks guys!

Do you have a T&E? There doesn't seem to be one in the photo. Really makes a difference.
Standard ammo cans are readily available.
Why links? Cloth belts are easier to load, and less wear on the gun's feed parts.
Have you tried a WTB ad in the EE?

I do have a T&E. I have quite a few ammo cans but I am looking for more like the M1 ammo can designed for belt fed ammo. I have alot of cloth belts but it doesn't load into the cans as well as the metal links.

I tried a WTB but it was unsuccessful

Yes, I posted on the EE and decided to keep it after only recieving offers of 10k. Pulled it down and decided I was going to keep it. May be my future paperweight lol

250 rnd cloth belts will fit in the old style 30 cal ammo cans .
Using links will damage the feed tray over time .

I only use cloth in mine . It's 30-06 & 8X63
I don't know it the 30-06 links will work on 308 . If you use 308 M-60 links you are limited to 5 rnds only

I've heard that you're limited with metal links. Can you point me to where I can find that info?

Cloth belts before 1942 are allowed 250 rds, correct?

This is the can you want .
Lots on Ebay

The links "chip" the wear surfaces. But ... a cloth belt will behave differently than disintegrating link. There was a reason why cloth belts were replaced.
