Even the pig has to look good before you put it on the grill.
Maybe where you come from
It's not oil. It's scratches and they all have them (I have enough of them to be quite sure, lol). I use perma blue paste to get them out, not 100 % but good enough. Amazon was the cheapest I could find. Only paste is good, not the liquid stuff.
Just widen the tabs on the upper hand guard, easy enough.
Any 5/10 round mags in the pipeline?
UPDATE: Called CanadaPost - All the (actually understanding) lady on the other end could do was ship off a service ticket and contact the Depot to speed up the process and it "should arrive by next Friday, but if it doesn't, we'll contact you with the next steps". Yeesh. Maybe Tactical Imports should change their name to "Flower Power Super Love Products" so these things don't get dinged or held!![]()
Can anyone advise what I should do? The package was sent on the 12th from TI, it was supposed to be delivered 6 days later. Then it became "delayed" (instantly I knew it's something to do with it being a firearm, or just crappy CP service), and then it was supposed to be delivered the 24th..... and now it's been in "transit" for ages, past the 24th deadline etc. (in any other instance, I would be getting a refund for shipping, had I been the sender, because this is getting ridiculous from the CP end.... not blaming TI for this)
Also don't understand the "origin: mississauga" vs "Item coming from Calgary"
Should I be calling Canada Post and sitting on the line for 2 hours? Should I be waiting?
Here is what I am seeing in my tracking:

WELP.... update time: Item is basically lost? I opened a service ticket with Canadapost on the 28th, after they missed their already pushed 24th delivery deadline. Somehow it miraculously moved from Calgary to Winnipeg in a few days..... and then since the 30th has been "in transit" (aka sitting in Winnipeg, if that's even true...) since.
Got an email from the automated Canadapost service saying "item not delivered" and now I have to contact the Sender (TI) to resolve this....
Has anyone else had this nightmare? Is anyone else's Type 81 missing?? Are they purposely withholding parcels because of the contents?
I ordered car parts from a friend in Calgary days before the TI order, and it came in 5 or 6 days. And yet suddenly this parcel is "missing".....
Okay enough now with the special editon.
How about a restricted type 81 with a super short barrel.
It's just canada post being crappy.
Yea it’s pretty easy. Just need a small hack saw and a file to take away a bit of material at the front of the follower to clear the feed ramps. Also have to notch the back a bit like on the steel mags so it clears the little lever that holds the bolt open.
Of course the bolt hold open feature will not work. All in all took maybe 3 mins to make each mag fit
Just picked up my folder at the PO. It looks like the barrel veers off a few degrees from the receiver at the front trunion. Is that normal?
