Best NR .223 or .308

223....WK180C... Inexpensive and reliable
223 Benelli MR-1... More money and reliable, very accurate to.
308 Tavor 7 expensive but worth every pennies, huge fun and cool factor. Reliable and accurate.
FNAR Comp 308, average price and to my knowledge the most accurate NR SA 308 on the market.

YMMV.:ar15:

Without knowing what is important this is a question thats impossible to answer?

I`m assuming you are asking about semi auto? What kind of shooting do you do? Benchrest accuracy type shooting? Run and gun?

Also note that very few people have shot everything so you are most likely only going to get their opinion of whats the best that they have shot.

Just so you know there is a metric TON of these threads already so most likely the info is already in one of those.

Best is very relative and depends on use case and need. In your case I assume you are talking about Black rifles.

IMO Swiss arm PE90 or B&T APC223 would be your "Best" NR Black rifle available in Canada if price is not an issue.

WK180c is probably best value. Robinson XCRL or M sits in between.

In 308 best would be an B&T APC 308 or a Gucci'd Stag10 or Custom M14 if money is no issue.

If going for value I would go with a Stag 10.

THE FNAR is very accurate but is Fugly IMO.

Depending on how generous your budget, get the Tavor X95 in 223 and Tavor 7 on 308.
Similar layout and very compact.

If budget is tight, get T97 for 5.56/223 and may I suggest just going with a bolt action in 308.
Mossberg MVP Patrol might fit the bill.
Not sure about any cheaper semi 7.62/308's out there.

I have enough for 1 Tavor I can stretch and grab the OG Tavor 7. I have a Tikka t3x 6.5 and I do have alot of 223 currently because atrs. Just seems the tavor 7 seems to have way more updated features. I just don't have any 308. I'm worried X95 is a 3moa gun but what are your thoughts.

It all depends on the intended use...
Tavor is a battle rifle, so the accuracy is sacrificed in favour of reliability...personally I preffer reliable over accurate, but again it depends on intention.
For precision shooting, there are better options out there I think.

... Only one to buy, i would have to keep 2

Tavor 7 for this extraordinairy SA
FNAR Competition for a SA that shoot like a good bolt action rifle

One unknown is the Crusader 9 in 5.56. You can get it in premium edition out of the box with a great trigger, stock, and pistol grip, and it has a non-reciprocating charging handle with a closed track. The full length hand guard does look space gunny, but this could be an excellent out of the box option. Only time will tell.
