Even more impressive than the result is the work ethic learned getting there. It makes me smile to see kids earn something rather than grow learning nothing but entitlements.
Thanks, yup, trying to teach him the way we and are parents were raised. Gotta give the kid credit. At 11 he used his birthday money to buy a push mower and practiced on my lawn all summer to get ready for the next year. Picked up 3 neighbour's, who give him way too much as far as I'm concerned, but they told him his quote was too low, so what ya gonna do.
Told him all the money he makes after fuel/maintainence, 10% goes to church/donations, 50% of what's left goes in a bank account, and he can spend what's left.
