ACR, I'd say yep. Just because they haven't been adopted by any military, the design is sound, in my opinion. It would be better with an aluminum lower, but still, not bad.

I've always wondered about the colors of the orange/blue Tavors. Is there a reason for those colors? Does that particular appearance have any significance?

I was shooting a lot of 3 Gun with my Tavor back then, both in Canada and the US. I went to Black Box Customs and we looked at a few “space laser” schemes of different styles looking to add more flash. For some reason that palette stuck with me. People afterwards noticed that it matches the Porsche gulf racing scheme and one of the sci-fi gun makers from . . . Destiny? I think it was Destiny.

Very nice. Its still a prism so wont be as good as a nice LPVO but probably one the the best prism optics out at the moment in my opinion.
