You should know that KT always is negative on any Canadian product and service unless, of course, they come from a certain Alberta place. He has been that way for years and just repeats the same trash year after year.

Not true, there's a few great Canadian based precision rifle products.

Insite Arms, MDT, Tangent Theta, PGW, Cadex, etc. all make great products.

I hope the Canadian precision rifle market only gets better and better.

You need to get over the past, your constant infatuation with calling me out over spilled milk from the past needs to end. No need to let me live rent free in your head, and there's no need to sidetrack threads like this.

Oh, and Trigger Tech is another one. Though I happen to prefer features on the BnA triggers.

Anyways, hope Ultimatum gets their stuff sorted out for their customers and potential customers. Hate to see any business struggle.

I don't think I've ever seen a Vudoo with a aftermarket barrel, I thought they came barreled and you were kind of stuck with that.

I ask able to order just the action. I wanted to try a faster twist in comparison to our rimx 1:16 and my v22 in 1:16.

I definitely haven’t seen an apples to apples comparison on the faster twist yet.
Would be nice to see an average over a number of barrels shooting off the same setup.
Everything I’ve seen has been fairly inconclusive.

Sounds like you will have some nice rifles.

Would be curious to hear how you like the Vudoo compared to the Rim-X.

The rimx is smoother in my mind. My current vudoo has roughly 12000 rounds through it and is still very smooth as well. We have way more issues with the rimx but that could be from a number of things. The plug and play from the vudoo is simple and effective! It’s not 100% fair comparison as it’s different manufacturers barrels, different chambers so I can’t comment on accuracy fairly. I wouldn’t say 1 shoots much or any better then the other. If I had to give a slight edge it might be to the vudoo but the rimx with the lothar has printed some incredible groups!!! The new barrels will be chambered with the vudoo reamer so the comparison will be much more fair

That's what's great about the Vudoo's. They come from the factory ready to shoot and reliably feed.

If you get a Rim-X, you are just getting the action and having a gunsmith put it together. There's a lot of nuances to putting together a rimfire that you don't get with a centerfire. A lot of Rim-X's aren't functioning 100% because the people putting them together aren't rimfire experts. Rimfire and centerfire are completely different worlds.

The Rim-X seems like a cool action, but you really have to get someone that knows what they are doing with rimfire to get it assembled in a manner where it functions 100%.

100%. Like I said it’s not fair due to the fact my shooting buddy put it together himself. If we had a competent person/gunsmith I’m Sure the results would 100% different. He did more recently adjust a bunch trying to improve and we only have roughly 2000 rounds through it with significantly better results so hopefully it stays that way. I really like both, and don’t think you can go wrong. Options for prefits and being able to change barrels from multiple smiths makes the rimx easier for the person who likes to change or try new things. The vudoo offers a package that is tough to beat. Great customer service, excellent shooting rifles, great action, simple plug and play

Guys like Greg at primal rights swears by the rimx and I believe it is a great action. I’m thinking of actually doing one for a hunting 22 something lighter as my current vudoo is pushing 16-18lbs and I’m sure the new one will be 16-20lbs just due to the larger and longer barrel.

There has been lots of reports of feeding problems with the Vudoo as well which seems to stem from the mag from what I've read. There is also reports of failure to fire with certain ammo which is less common.

Complete rifles, perhaps. I have seen plenty of Vudoo barreled actions in a variety of stocks and chassis having issues, just as I have seen the same with Bergara, Rim-X and Deuce. They are not immune to trouble.

Yes I agree and I have heard of the same thing. I know of a buddy who had some issues with the vudoo v22 and switch to the 360 with no problems. I don’t know exactly what the issues are but from my experience I’ve had maybe 20 issues tops over the 12000 rounds. 0 failures to fire, 0 extraction or ejection issues. Only the tops 20 feed problems.

Back on topic, heard a rumor that Ultimatum has gone belly up.

you are a very good member very here but I must respectfully criticize you for this post

one should never “heard a rumour”

just post the FACTS that some forum posters have had orders cancelled, bad communication skills by company and so on

Yep I,think, they are belly up but that is my opinion, folks cannot get support for parts and so on based on this website members posting concerns

there may be a lot of truth to RUMOURS but we should on,y post facts or ask a question in a better manner

I think the owners have been very lackadaisical in their approach to these concerns

AND I HOPE THAT COMPANY IS BROKE AND DOES NOT TAKE ANYONE ELSES MONEY

or comes on and tells all to,salvage their reputation such as it is

I completely DISTRUST websites that will not say who the owners are

beware folks

again the reference to the member who posted the reason for this reply is a very upstanding member and his approach to this matter was just not thought through enough to post the proper question
with respect to that member

What bee got under your bonnet today?

For someone who says "just post facts", posting something like this is a bit hypocritical:

he should move on some of us have been fighting this for 40 years with very little success

petition was the biggest in,Canadian history and got nowhere

I heard the rumor from a reputable source, and it is very plausible. If you don't like someone posting rumors, just don't reply, no need to get snippy.

I was very respectful of you
perhaps you can’t read

let me re-phrase
either post whom you heard the rumour from or leave

posting rumours that are not true and are deliberate is defamation and you are a great example of a

CANADIAN FORCES MEMBER as you seem to show that they must feed on rumours to exist in their profession judging from your response to allow rumours to govern your life
I feel sorry if you command more than filling the garbage bins at work

"re-phrase"? You never asked for my source in your snippy post to being with. Maybe you should try reading it again...

LoL, that's rich! Who told you the OP of that thread was "a paid dissident by the liberal party or a false flag proponent"? Or is that not defamation?

I'll wait. And no, I won't post my source, because I don't care if you believe me.

No new orders until further notice
Due to supply chain constraints, we will no longer be accepting new orders. All outstanding orders will be filled and shipped as soon as possible, or refunded where applicable.

Thank you for your understanding.

^^^this from their website^^^

The website also no longer show any actions...not even deadline.

Barreled actions however have deadline open for ordering with a lower price?
