Mannlichers....

That price is ridiculous.

It does seem a bit much, but then I am always surprised by the asking price of Blasers...They always seem to have an asking price about double anything I would even consider. They remind me of the supermarket price of beef steak...always seems to be about twice what it should be...and the "should be" price is already way too high. Drives me back to my freezer venison.

We are not used to price like that in North America, but in Europe, look at the price of good double shot guns, they start at 10k pounds lol! Double rifles in big bores like some nitro express fetch 30-40k!! Isn’t it Gunwerk rifles that sels for well over 5-6k? Not that they are not worth that money, but to me they sure don’t look as nice and handy!!

The lower grade blaser singles are pricey but not that pricey. The barrel swap feature is nice and the finish seems much better than my Haenel but neither would justify the price for me; at least that’s what I’m telling myself

I was feeling that gun at first but the wooden side panels on the receiver are a bit of an odd touch

Or....these four all together cost only one-quarter the price of that Blaser.

Not everywhere in Europe, but in many countries only the rich hunt, and the value of their guns relects that.

Only the rich hunt because their country is small geographically (with the exception of Russia) and grossly overpopulated.

The Ruger RSI in 7 by 57 is sweet in the Lipseys special but when I put it side by side to the K95 there just is no comparison. K95 worth every penny. Many interchangeable barrels. The trigger is phenomenal on the K95 and no need for a set trigger in my view. CZ and Steyr make a set trigger and have them both but the K95 stands on its own. The 7 by 65 R is sure a nice caliber round. That Blaser is a jewel. If you handle it in Vancouver you will buy it. You might have to sell your car.

Beautiful Mauser 66, I love it! All your rifles are first class. I also have a Krico in a 600 series, half stock, single trigger chambered in the 30-06.

I've been reading and enjoy looking at all the photos of the fs rifles here for a while. I thought I would share my current collection of the these rifles including one that I've purchases off Rob's.
