Mannlichers....

I have never seen, touched, or held a Blaser that I actually wanted to own. Forget the inflated price...just not my kind of rifle.

Guy selling a Mannlicher Schoenauer 8x56 in pretty good shape for 850 bucks; but I’m trying to be a good boy…

Edit: at the Calgary gun show

Also a rigby 1895 in 6.5x53r holy smokes what a nice piece

To me, Manlicher stocked rifles look better if they have iron sights, than the ones that don’t. I can not say why I feel this, it is almost like a firearms “golden ratio” perception in my little walnut brain.

I've been reading and enjoy looking at all the photos of the fs rifles here for a while. I thought I would share my current collection of the these rifles including one that I've purchases off Rob's.

Drool. Very nice and thanks for sharing. The three I have hardly compare. I have a pair of M-70 Zastavas, one in 9.3x62 and the other in 7x57. And to use here on the Vancouver Island 'Wet Coast' primarily for Blacktail, a while back I picked up a Ruger Hawkeye M-77 Lipsey model in 7x57.

I got lucky and found one about a month ago in Canada. Only had a box through it. There was one at the Penticton gun show being sold by a guy from Claresholm but it was not in 7 by 57. Expect to pay between 1550 and 2500. These were the Lipsey special stainless RSI bolt actions. Not in Ruger 1.

Beautiful collection!

Does anyone have one of these fullstock Krico 600 clones of the Brno ZKW 465?

(Made approx. 1954-1963. Some people swear that the Krico receiver was made by Pfaff, the German sewing machine company, and was first a casting, and later machined. Others claim that Krico actually used Brno parts, at least at the very beginning of the production.)
