what dealers carry rem 700 actions/bolts

it's getting tedious trying to search every cgn dealer for a rem 700 action to build on

is there something up with the supply of these things these days?
I'd like to find a stainless action with .308 bolt face but having no luck.

what dealers carry these things these days with a reasonable expectation of them being in stock?

At that price with shipping and taxes you may as well just grab a complete rifle off the EE.

yes I think you may be right...... now to find someone willing to sell at a reasonable price.
I checked CSC for actions and found none online but who knows , could be in with the rifle listings but i typed remington into the search and they didn't come up.
If a SS factory rem action is really gonna run over 700 bucks...... I'll just kick in another 5hundy n change and get a 1200.00 action where it seems there are several reasonable offerings.

I was in CSC a couple months ago - IIRC, I saw 2 actions for sale (out on display). Looked like stainless, again IIRC ~ $1,200 but then again, I didn't look that close because I'm not into that market ATM.

There are quite a few rem700's in the hunting rifle EE but most are long actions such as 7mm and 300WM

Not everything gets put on websites. That would be a huge task for some stores who have limited staff. You may have to pick up a phone to find what you are looking for.
