A Metric S++ton of Barrels at Dlask Arms Corp. !

If you guys read post #1 of this thread it says we will be making 9" barrels. If you are asking about 9" .920" bull profile barrels then no, sorry, these are not in the cards. Everyone wants light and compact and that's achievable with the CF sleeved barrels but not a .920" bull barrel. CF is the way of the future my friends. ( :

I have a factory mcs- just looking for the short barrel…

Again, no, sorry. The reason being is that our barrels are / may be slightly different in lug position to a standard 870 MCS. I could make you one then it doesn't fit by a c-hair and it becomes a problem. We would rather make them here, install and test fire them here and then we know they are good.

It may be a pipe dream but I was more leaning towards a factory taper profile in 9" like the 12.5" ones you have listed on your site. I think that'd be kind of nice looking in a backpacker stock with a A2 flash hider on it but that may be just me. If CF is the way of the future and that's the only 9" option that will be available, is the magpul x-22 backpacker optic mount compatible with such a barrel? I ask because that's how I mount my red dot now and would like to know if that will have to change if I switch to one of your 9" CF barrels.

The start of the thread mentions a Dlask 10/22 TD receiver too, so it sounds much like they have the whole package in mind. I'm hoping for something that fits a relatively short backpack, has a red dot (or maybe an iron-sights option?) on the barrel to stay aligned, and takes the 25-rounders. Eager to see what comes out!

Yes the magpul optic mount is compatible since it's attached to the latching "block". I've ran this setup myself until switching to their rail.

Well dangit man, you've found us out ! Seriously this is the plan and we are about halfway there. Once the barrels are back we will chamber and finish them while we wait for the receivers to be done. These will be the TUF-22 compact (or Takedown) and will come as small and light as possible in a Magpul X-22 stock and our 9" carbon fiber barrel with picatinny rail on the barrel as an option. Or use Magpuls optics mount, either way....

I'm an adventure motorcycle guy and to have a light and tiny little rifle in my side bag with 25-round mags (or 110 round drums) ready to murder beer cans at the campsite is just awesome !

Well I guess I will hold out for a few months for the factory 9inch models to come in. For $600 I can get the whole rifle with 9 inch barrel.

I figure that's the idea. :D

I've had this setup and it makes for a sweet little plinker with a trimag. Definitely need a stick mag now that it's sitting in a crazy Ivan chassis (Remington mags didn't make the cut for me).

Either way it's nice being able to throw this on the Enduro bike and make a quick run to the range or crown land for a bit of shooting.
