So whos buying a CZ Bren 2 MS ? Its non res !

RDSC called me this morning and told me the 16 inch restricted I ordered was getting a price raise to $3250, and that the NR was getting a reduction to the same price, so I told them to change my order to the NR. I missed out on Marstar listing the NR for 2999, so I kept my order with RDSC. Ordering from Marstar at $3099 plus 13% tax is still more than $3250 plus 5% tax.

Well it is only good and applicable for people who live in Alberta. Good for you. If RDSC is willing to charge only 5% for non-Albertarian (just like some other stores in AB) then I will surely give them my business.

Is this the first case where a retailer has sold a firearm in R and NR for the same price?

Actually I live in BC, when you order online you should be paying the tax rate of the province where the store is located. I've ordered from Alberta to B.C many times and it's always been the case.

not true with most of out of province retailers except for my favorite one lol. I was charges 13% HST from RDSC.

What's with all these price changes. I wonder if they'll turn around and hike prices more once the rifles are in country.

Umm no I don’t think so. I just bought item from RDSC and I was charged 13% online. I also contacted them months ago, and they confirmed that they charge tax based on where the customer lives as it is required by law according to them. I got them saying that on email.

Just now I tried to purchase one and as you can see 13% HST.

Huh well don't know what the deal is with that then. I order my motorcycle gear out of Alberta most of the time, and it's always 5%. I went back and checked some of my Tenda orders and an order I did with Maple Ridge armory, I only got charged the GST on those orders as well. I also ordered my Benelli M4 from Firearms Outlet, only got the 5% GST charged.

Let's not forget that RDSC was charging $3,700 until Marstar charged 3,099 and now RDSC dropped their price to $3,250. Don't forget which companies are price gouging you. Let them hang themselves imo.

they also increased their R version from 2800 to 3250

CTCSupplies has posted a coupled LAR mag dump video to Reddit, and commented in thread their first batch sold within hours, and reiterated more were to come in May, https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/comments/ug54lh/cz_bren_2_ms_lar_mag_dump_11_556x45/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb.

File this under things I would not post a video of myself doing. These days it is safe to say LAR15 mags will, at best, get confiscated or at worst, force you to #### around with RCMP and waste time defend yourself in court.

Nothing but bad experiences with these guys. Rude, hilariously bad pricing, totally willing to sell you used items as new, incomplete kits, etc. For the prices they want, service is laughably bad.
